Dancing in the Square! Advanced Mini Match 2014 Sugar Land Town Square

This year's Fred Astaire Dance Studio’s Advanced Mini Match was held in the center of Sugar Land Town Square, Saturday February 1, 2014! Over 300 spectators and professional competitors from Fred Astaire Dance Studio’s Sugar Land, The Woodlands and River Oaks attended.

Competitors; pro and amateur danced ballroom dances both Smooth & Rhythm.
Smooth ballroom dancing includes Foxtrot, The Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep. Rhythm includes Rumba, Eastern Swing, Bolero, Mambo, Samba, Paso Doble, Western Swing, Sala, Cha Cha and the Jive.

Fred Astaire Dance Studio’s astonishing competitors were thrilled to share their talent with the Sugar Land community. The crowd of Sugar Land Town Square was amazed of Fred Astaire’s passion for dance.

This event is the culmination of hard work by our students, teachers, Judges, Examiners, choreographers, National competition organizer, coordinators and Dance directors.
